At WaterfallBridge, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your rights regarding our free trial, refund eligibility, and how to cancel your subscription.

This policy applies to all WaterfallBridge subscriptions purchased through our website using Paddle as the payment processor.

1. 15-Day Free Trial

✅ Try Before You Buy

WaterfallBridge offers a 15-day free trial for all new users. When you install the software and register an account, you automatically receive 15 days of free access to all features. No payment or credit card information is required to start your trial.

1.1 How the Free Trial Works

  • Install WaterfallBridge and register an account
  • Your 15-day free trial begins immediately upon account registration
  • No payment or credit card is required to start the trial
  • You have full access to all software features and updates during the trial period
  • After 15 days, the software will stop working unless you purchase a subscription

1.2 After the Trial Ends

When your 15-day trial period ends:

  • The software will no longer be functional until you purchase a subscription
  • To continue using WaterfallBridge, you need to purchase a subscription through the application or our website
  • Your account and settings will be preserved, so you can resume where you left off once you subscribe

No Automatic Charges: Your trial will not automatically convert to a paid subscription. You must actively choose to purchase a subscription to continue using the software after the trial ends.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 14-Day Right to Cancel (Consumers)

If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use), unless the exception in Section 2.4 applies, you have the right to cancel your initial purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction.

2.2 How to Request a Refund / Cancellation

To ensure immediate processing, please submit your request via Paddle's Order Support at paddle.net (using the link in your Paddle receipt or customer portal). Please include your order number and the email address used for the purchase.

If you need help locating your order details, you may also contact us at support@waterfallbridge.com and we'll assist you in providing the required information to Paddle.

2.3 Refund Processing

If a cancellation/refund is accepted, Paddle will reimburse all payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to cancel, using the same payment method used for the original transaction, and you will not incur any fees.

In practice, card refunds typically take 3–5 working days to appear, and PayPal refunds typically re-appear within 48 hours.

2.4 Exception for Digital Content

The consumer right to cancel does not apply to digital content that you have started to download, stream, access, or otherwise acquire.

2.5 Subscriptions (After the 14-Day Period)

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If you wish to cancel, please contact Paddle via paddle.net at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect on the next payment date. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.

3. Subscription Renewals

3.1 Automatic Renewal

After your free trial ends and your paid subscription begins, WaterfallBridge subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate at renewal.

3.2 Renewal Notifications

Depending on your subscription type and location, Paddle may send you renewal reminder emails before your subscription renews. However, it is your responsibility to track your subscription renewal date and cancel before that date if you do not wish to continue.

You can check your subscription details and renewal date at any time by:

  • Logging into your Paddle account via the link in your purchase confirmation email
  • Viewing your subscription status directly in the WaterfallBridge application
  • Contacting our support team at support@waterfallbridge.com

3.3 Refunds for Renewals

Important: The 14-day refund policy applies only to your initial subscription purchase. Renewal charges are not eligible for refunds.

To avoid being charged for a renewal you don't want, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can check your renewal date at any time in your Paddle account or in the WaterfallBridge application.

4. How to Cancel Your Subscription

If you have an active paid subscription, you can cancel it at any time. There are no cancellation fees or penalties. Cancel before your next billing date to prevent future charges.

Note: The 15-day free trial does not require cancellation. The trial simply expires after 15 days with no charges. You only need to cancel if you have purchased a subscription and no longer wish to continue.

4.1 Cancellation Methods

If you have an active paid subscription, you can cancel it using any of these methods:

✨ Method 1: Directly in the Application (Recommended)

The easiest way to cancel is directly within the WaterfallBridge software:

  1. Open WaterfallBridge
  2. Navigate to Settings or Account Management
  3. Click "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete cancellation

Method 2: Via Your Paddle Account

  1. Go to your subscription management link (provided in your purchase confirmation email from Paddle)
  2. Log in with your email address
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm cancellation

Method 3: Contact Support

  1. Send an email to support@waterfallbridge.com
  2. Subject: "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Include: Your subscription email address and Paddle order ID
  4. We'll process your cancellation within 1 business day

4.2 What Happens When You Cancel

Note: The 15-day free trial does not require any subscription or payment. The trial simply expires after 15 days, and you are not charged. Cancellation only applies if you have an active paid subscription.

When you cancel your paid subscription:

  • Cancellation Takes Effect: Your subscription is set to not renew at the end of the current billing period
  • Access Until Period Ends: You retain full access to the software until your current paid period expires
  • No Further Charges: You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods
  • Software Access Ends: Once your subscription period ends, the software will no longer be functional and you will not be able to use WaterfallBridge until you resubscribe
  • No Partial Refunds: There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.

4.3 Cancellation Confirmation

After cancellation, you will receive an email confirmation from Paddle. Please keep this for your records. If you don't receive confirmation within 24 hours, contact us at support@waterfallbridge.com.

5. Reactivating Your Subscription

If you cancelled your subscription and want to reactivate it:

  • You can resubscribe at any time by visiting our pricing page
  • If you reactivate within 90 days of cancellation, we may be able to restore your previous account settings
  • After 90 days, you'll be treated as a new subscriber

6. Special Circumstances

6.1 Payment Failures

If your payment method fails at renewal:

  • Paddle will attempt to process payment multiple times over several days
  • You'll receive email notifications about the failed payment
  • If payment cannot be processed after all retry attempts, your subscription will be cancelled automatically
  • You'll need to resubscribe manually if you want to continue

6.2 Disputed Charges

If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company:

  • Please contact us first at support@waterfallbridge.com - we're happy to resolve any billing issues directly
  • Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of your account and subscription
  • Additional fees may apply for processing chargebacks

6.3 Fraudulent Activity

Subscriptions obtained through fraudulent means (stolen credit cards, etc.) will be immediately cancelled without refund, and the matter will be reported to appropriate authorities.
